Point Loma Nazarene University is one of the leading Christian universities in the country. With its commitment to educating students as whole people, Point Loma has prepared gradutes for meaningful careers in fields as diverse as medicine, ministry, education, and politics.

Founded in 1902 by Phineas F. Bresee, the university moved from its original location in Pasadena, CA to its Point Loma home in San Diego in 1973. PLNU now has five locations: the undergraduate campus in Point Loma and graduate programs at regional centers in Arcadia, Bakersfield, Inland Empire, and Mission Valley San Diego.

Point Loma Nazarene University is the official university of the Southwest Educational Region of the Church of the Nazarene.
