Grant Funded Tuitions for Veterans

The BIOCOM Institute is committed to serving veterans and has a proven certificate program, the BioCollaborative Life Science Immersion Program, that helps former and transitioning military members secure a job in the life sciences industry. Several funded tuitions will be allocated to support veterans as well as active duty military, and other members of the military community. Funding for this program is provided by an ARRA grant entitled "Biotechnology Readiness, Immersion, and Degrees and Certificates for Gainful Employment" (BRIDGE), which is administered by San Diego State University, College of Extended Studies. The BRIDGE Grant is designed to broaden career opportunities in biotechnology and the life sciences.
